Head Bolt torque
#1
1995 Buick Lesabre 3.8L   Head Bolt Set ES 74031

Hello. I just wanted to verify the torque spec on these. I am seeing 35/130deg./+30deg. on http://www.fme-cat.com/CylinderHeadTorqu...%22%20Bore. However, there are a lot of other sites saying 37/130deg./+30deg. Example: http://www.torkspec.com/torkspecme.aspx?...L-231ci-V6. Not sure if the couple of pounds makes a difference but I wanted to clarify. Is fme-cat.com accurate?

Thank you

Hi Carlos, thanks for your post!

The value on FMe-cat.com is the same as General Motors service manual and Mitchell service manual. We would recommend following these values and sequence when torquing the head bolts.

We hope this helps!
